Dripping by subtraction. This is the technique, invented by the artist Luciano Bellet, protagonist of the works on display in the exhibition \"E cos\u00ec via - And so on\" scheduled from 21 May to 17 September 2023 at the Barchessa di Ponente of Villa Manin<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Three-dimensional paintings where signs, shapes, gestures, colours and materials absorb the artist’s vibrations and blend together, adhering to the canvas. These works encapsulate the creative intelligence and curiosity that have driven Luciano Bellet to experiment with different materials since he was a child.<\/p>

It all began with the clay that Luciano found in the field near his home as a child, and which he enjoyed kneading and shaping, creating figures from his imagination. A curiosity that constantly accompanied him along his path, with a special focus on the transformation of matter through the gesture of the hand and heat. The desire to know and experiment led Bellet to study Jackson Pollock (master of action painting), Lucio Fontana (founder of the Spatialist movement) and Mark Rothko (forerunner of the colour field painters) to create mutable works of art that dialogue with the viewer.<\/p>

The exhibition, curated by Paolo Toffolutti, presents 56 works created with the technique of “dripping by subtraction” and accumulation, works defined as such by the artist himself and the result of modelling and melting insulation wool.<\/p>

A path that allows us to perceive, without explosions of colour or shapes, in the vibrations of the surfaces and in the strength of the restrained gestures, the expressiveness of Luciano Bellet. Luciano Bellet<\/strong>, born in Pordenone in 1963, is one of the most innovative artists on the Italian and international scene today, appreciated both institutionally and by critics.
His artistic work has always focussed on the difficult condition of contemporary man, faced with continuous and rapid socio-cultural change, and is implemented through a synthesis of various expressive media, elaborated and developed over the years.
His is an art that develops together with consciousness. Even as a boy, he felt the desire to translate with his hands the feeling of physical belonging to the earth and the cyclical work of the seasons.
In 1976, it was the harsh experience of the earthquake that shook him and marked him deeply, even in his artistic career.
His first investigation is sculpture: form is moulded under his fingers, with physical effort. Then, the study of light and its declinations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
