On the occasion of the Sapori Pro Loco event to be held on the weekends of 17 and 18 May and 23-24-25 May 2025, Villa Manin – ERPAC has organised a number of cultural initiatives.

17:00 PRESENTATION OF THE NEW EDITION AUDIO GUIDE VILLA MANIN

Four different routes to discover Villa Manin and its park: the historical personalities, the history of its architecture and landscape, the tree essences in the park and its inhabitants and the new route dedicated to the noble body of the Villa.

11:30 a.m. APERITIF CONCERT IN THE VILLA – DAVIDE LIANI AND THE POETS OF RESULTIVE
Cappella di Sant’Andrea – Barchessa di Levante
The event is dedicated to M.o Davide Liani, 20 years after his death: musician, composer, teacher, disseminator of Friulian music and culture in Italy and abroad. We will retrace his life through his original compositions, his very special arrangements of popular music and in particular through the compositions born out of having crossed the lives of some of the most famous poets of his time such as Ezra Pound, Jacques Prévert and the poets of the Risultive current, a literary group active in Friuli in the 1950s that played an important role in the development of Friulian literature, promoting the use of common Friulian for the enhancement of local culture.

12:00 PRESENTATION OF THE CATALOGUE “VILLA MANIN. IL RE, IL KAISER E LE OCHE – UNA STORIA PER IMMAGINI”

The exhibition -which can be visited in the main body of Villa Manin until 30 September 2025- was presented for the first time at Villa Manin at the end of 2019 and is now being presented again, integrated and enriched. Today the Catalogue of the exhibition is presented in the presence of the Councillor for Culture of the FVG Region Mario Anzil, the curators Dino Barattin and Lucia Sartor and the Director of ERPAC-Servizio catalogazione, promozione, valorizzazione e sviluppo del territorio, Guido Comis.

The courtyard of honour of Villa Manin will also host these concerts with free admission:

An explosion of sonic energy mixing the irreverence of funk, the elegance of soul and the freshness of contemporary groove.

Sunday 18 May at 20:30 SOUL IN VILLA WITH THE SOUL ORCHESTRA
A unique musical journey, where heterogeneity blends with passion for music and the arts in its various forms.

Friday 23 May 9 p.m. CEM LIVE ORCHESTRA
A one-and-a-half-hour tour through the last forty years of Italian music, with songs such as Lucio Dalla’s Caruso, De Gregori’s La donna cannone, Baglioni’s Via, Mia Martini’s Minuetto, Paolo Conte’s Via con me, and the great Mina’s Bugiardo ed Incosciente.

Saturday 24 May 9.00 p.m. PENELOPE E I DIABOLICI TOUPÉ
A sparkling and tasty band with a warm and intense sound, thanks to the use of period costumes and instruments, takes the atmosphere back to the unmistakable world of “black music”.

Sunday 25 May at 8.30 p.m. JOSÉ BRAGATO L’Impronta friulana nella storia del tango
Based on an idea by Maestro Andrea Boscutti, a journey to discover the life and artistic production of Josè Giuseppe Bragato (Udine 1915 – Buenos Aires 2017), a great Friulian musician who emigrated with his family to Argentina, and who was famous in the symphonic field, in the revival of Argentine and Paraguayan folk music and, above all, in the development of the tango.
