Jeremiah Fraites

In the evocative setting of the Villa Manin park, Jeremiha Fraites, the co-founder of The Lumineers, presents her solo album 'Piano Piano', in an intimate and close encounter with the audience.

The co-founder of the Lumineers, the multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and composer Jeremiah Fraites is the second international announcement of the concerts in the park of Villa Manin Estate 2023. On Friday 21 July at 6.30 p.m., in concert for the first time ever in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, he will present his first solo work ‘Piano Piano‘. Tickets, at the symbolic price of €5 + presale fee, will be on sale from 11:00 a.m. on Friday 21 April online at Ticketone.it, Ticketmaster.it and in all authorised points of sale.

“Piano Piano” is an instrumental album, released in 2021, which in the live dimension becomes an enthralling and evocative spectacle due to its intimacy, an opportunity to meet the audience without any barrier of separation. Jeremiah will be accompanied by Fortunato D’Ascola on double bass, Giulia Pecora on violin, Filippo Cornaglia on drums and synthesiser, and Clarissa Marino on cello.

In Jeremiah Fraites’ solo work, one can hear distinct folk influences, the same ones that characterise The Lumineers, transported here, however, to a more classical and sophisticated setting. Although the name of the album might make one think of piano alone, on the contrary it contains many instruments, mostly played by Jeremiah himself.

The 12 tracks that make up the album were written fleetingly behind the scenes or while he was on the road during his tours, a series of notes that were there waiting for the moment to finally be expressed in their full harmony. ‘Piano Piano’ is a radiant and moving experience resulting from the surprising and intimate recordings and Fraites introduced it by saying “I love communicating with people just through music, which can sometimes say more than words”.
