A grand Christmas celebration at Villa Manin linked to the exhibition Confini da Gauguin a Hopper (Borders from Gauguin to Hopper): the square will come alive with live music, light shows and fireworks!
The event programme includes:
6:00 pm – Welcome by Mario Anzil, Vice President of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia
6:05 pm – Marco Goldin, art historian and curator of the exhibition, reads a page on the theme of borders in painting. Accompanied on the piano by Remo Anzovino with evocative lighting.
6:15 p.m. – Musical preview with Remo Anzovino
6:30 p.m. – Video mapping show on the façade of Villa Manin, curated by “The Lights”, on the themes of the Confini exhibition.
All the most famous works recounted in an exciting and original way.
6.45 p.m. – Fireworks display with musical accompaniment
7 p.m. – Refreshments for all, organised by UNPLI FVG
7.15 p.m. – Exclusive concert by Remo Anzovino on the piano
From 6 pm to 10 pm (last admission at 9 pm), the exhibition Confini da Gauguin a Hopper (Borders from Gauguin to Hopper), hosted in the Esedra di Levante of Villa Manin, will be open to visitors with a single ticket costing €7 (instead of €15), which can only be purchased at the ticket office and cannot be booked in advance.
In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to the following day.
