The Court of Honour of the Villa Manin hosts two giants of jazz music: Paolo Fresu and Glauco Venier, accompanied by the voice of Lella Costa, in the concert version of Pinocchio Confidential, a reading by Lella Costa and Gabriele Vacis based on The Adventures of Pinocchio. Storia di un burattino, a literary masterpiece by Carlo Collodi that has enchanted generations of children for over 140 years.
The show analyses, breaks down and recomposes the story of Pinocchio in order to search for the profound themes that make it universal and paradigmatic, thus offering numerous keys to interpreting our daily lives. The “live” re-proposition of the music composed for the show by Fresu and Venier is the icing on the cake: an alternative and complete version enhanced by Lella Costa’s narration.
