A new event in the long summer of events at Villa Manin. On Saturday 13 September, starting at 7.30 pm, the Villa’s Cortile d’Onore will host a concert entitled “The Whitney Houston, Queen, Michael Jackson Piano Tribute” by Friulian pianist and composer Sebastian Di Bin. In this new project, Maestro Di Bin performs his reinterpretations for solo piano of three immortal icons of pop music from the 1980s, 1990s and beyond. Admission to the event is free and, in case of bad weather, it will be rescheduled for the following day, Sunday 14 September.

Sebastian Di Bin is an internationally renowned pianist and composer from Friuli. In 1991, he represented Italy alongside the great international tenor Luciano Pavarotti at the UNICEF World Gala in Amsterdam and was appointed UNICEF ambassador for artistic merit. As a pianist, he has won 14 international awards, including the prestigious Venice Prize in 2003, receiving the Medal of the President of the Italian Republic and the Silver Plaque of the Senate, the UNISA 12th International South Africa Piano Competition in 2012, the Franz Liszt Danubio International Piano Competition 2021 and the San Jose International Piano Competition in California in 2014. As a composer, in 2021 he won 17 platinum medals plus the Palladium with his piano works and his reinterpretations and paraphrases of famous pop and jazz songs at the Canadian International Music Competition, the Quebec International Music Competition.
